Meet Our Faculty
Teachers: All teachers are licensed New York State teacher from local school districts. Dr. Flaherty is a retired high school English teacher with 40-years of teaching experience from Manhasset High School and will be running the Elementary School and Middle School English classes. Dr. Flaherty is very experienced in helping students who's first language is not English. Many of her students who have worked with her from an early age have developed a strong English background and gone on to some of the top colleges including Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, and Yale. Mr. Romano, a recent retired high school AP English teacher from Jericho High School will be teaching the High School and TOEFL course. Mr. Romano's 30-years of experience teaching standardized tests like SAT, NYS high school English, and college level English at one of Long Island's top high schools has made him a very effective English teacher in preparing students for high school English and the TOEFL exam.
